Steam Cloud Wipe to reset designs and templates?

Is there a way to wipe all designs AND templates? Or to reset steam cloud sync? Or to force the steam cloud to use your current local folder as the 'latest'?

In-game ship deletion seems to be working fine and syncing properly in .97, but I seem to have a legacy template (not ship) from .95 that I can't manually delete from the designs folder when steam cloud sync is on. I have tried turning off steam cloud sync, then deleting the template and playing which seems to be ok as it will not pull the template up, but does this mean I can never play with steam cloud sync on?

Clicking on the old template from the designer when I try to choose a hull causes the game to crash. The template is based on the prototype scout which I named US1, but it is still named Prototype Scout M1 in the Designs folder. I noticed the .objgfxcfg file is missing (not sure if its not needed if its template?)

Recently discovered that MP Start button crashes stopped happening when all players forced Steam Cloud disabled.  Clearly junk in the save data is causing the game to fail under certain conditions.

I don't know how to purge Cloud data either, so until such time as I do Cloud save is disabled for GC3 on my machine.  MP games still crash frequently tho, and eventually reach a point where you can play no further (~turn 60 or so).
