Another test

3-2-1... blast off!

This is Citizen jake11. I have had a major problem trying to upload and post on this board until I just found out that Zone Alarm (free edition and upgraded) which I had been using, was preventing me from doing so. I had no way of knowing this because I was not having any trouble elsewhere. The previous "test" posted was done by an AOL technician last night.
Not until Angie fron Support informed me that Zone Alarm does not work well with "asp" which is what they use, did I discover this problem. Angie knows her stuff.

Finally, I am here and happy.

Good to see you. I'm glad everything worked out. I had my share of problems with Zone Alarm myself in the past and finally gave up on it. I don't have the patients for that kind of stuff. I just use the McAfee firewall now. Although it is not fool proof either.

Thanks Keila, good to know about McAfee. I guess I had better go shopping soon. I like your desktop. I am going to add mine now soon,I tried once already but you now know THAT story.

IL, hey. Just below me. Is it supposed to get a bit warmer there today also? I can't remember, do you have Sam's Club there? They really tend to have some good prices on these kind of programs.

I use Zone Alarm, and have no problem uploading and posting here.

I was trying to cheap out with the freebie, so I guess you get what you pay for, or NOT!

Hi Keila, today we have had some light snow, yesterday it was almost hot (50 deg) compared to last week when I managed to burn up nearly a cord of wood, which by the way i cut myself using trees that have already died.

It was cold last week though.

I've got the freebie ZoneAlarm, no problems getting here. Gave full access to the skin browser though.

I believe that it is the case that Zone alarm has problems working with AOL.

AOL has problems with a lot of things. Zone alarm has problems with a lot of things. But them together, and it's just bad

I don't like any anti-virus or Firewall that is free

I bought Norton's System Works and firewall. I like these

I am trying adain with ZA, after making some adjustments, we'll see what happens.
I am not too fond of AOL either due to the porno thing, but they did honor a 1000hr/45day free ride.
