Maybe the higher point,...is "Do I want to? "

/me 's immune system is kicking into gear and her usual smartbooty self is taking over.

/me is supposed to be sleeping. Just pretend you didn't read this....

/me was going to write a 'hug a thon' thread for everyone and those who are feeling blue about VDay...but...I dunno if that just rubs salt in the wound. *sigh*

/me would love to give everyone who needs one a big bear hug...

Oh well.

/me never claimed sanity. hehe

Sorry, IPlural...I=uber-plural just went off on a tangent of her own. Yep. /me needs sleep.

Ws... I believe you saw it in action tonight...

Shmoopy... hot shower, soft music, warm milk, no thoughts.... close your eyes and think of some time when you were younger, when parents knew all the answers and all the questions were simple (and you didn't even question it... that was the magic), imagine strong arms holding you, strong people guarding you...

Open the window, let the cool breeze in, pile up the covers into a cacoon, breath the fresh air...

breath in looooooooooooooooooooooooong
breath out looooooooooooooooooooooooong
just drift
turn off the computer
roll over
sleep

GM, I grew up with a mom who divorced my dad before I was born and whom eventually gave me up to my grandparents when I was seven years old and I ended up in a foster home by age eleven with my baby sister.....and I could go on but I won't...

Point is...I don't sleep easy...never did...never will...

But, you are right GM...my immune system is taxed lately and I need my sleep no matter how much I fear it. ()

/me will be good now and snuggle under her covers...

I'm sorry Shmoopy that you've gone through that. That's sad

Sounds like our history's are much the same, Shmoopy. "Parents" are who and what you make them, really.

It's just a little trick I use when I can't sleep (I'm a pro at that myself). Building an imaginary sanctuary, retreating to my privacy. Even when I'm not sleeping, I can approximating it.

I don't have the problem but I feel more comfortable hugging a pillow. Could try that.

I've a little trick I'm supposed to do, 200 mg Trazdone

wouldn't do it at this juncture, wouldn't be prudent... All it does it bring on the nightmares(flash backs) even more vivid and I am so drugged out I can't wake up even when I tell myself to. So, I saty awake until I fall over on my face
Thats how I got this neat
