Compond Skin Question

I would like to make a compond sKin with skinstudio.
I am having some trouble figuring it out.
Does anyone have a link or some advice to get me going in the right direction?
I have been to skinstudio website and did not see information on this subject.
Thanks alot.

take a look at other compound skins. I think it is just as simple as having 2 skins in one folder...

also try aleksyandr's web site.

To make a cowpond skin:

Open the UIS file in a text editor and rename the skin personality to Cowpond Skin and save it as Cowpond skin .sss file in the same folder

This will be the cowpond part of the skin with the changes you want to make.

Open up a new text editor and put this in...

[Skinstyles]
Number=2

[Skinstyle0]
Name=UIS Skin Name
Skin=Skin.UIS

[Skinstyle1]
Name=Cowpond Skin name
Skin=Cowpond Skin.SSS

Save this file in the skin folder as a .SSD file

Wa La you now have a cowpond skin.

Now let me show you the solution to the problem. I usedto direct people to the "Code" tab forgettig that the combo for "non image" file references is actually editable. But today I've read an easier sollution, by Tiggz:

When you want the substyle to have a different start menu, after you create the new substyle you need to click "taskbar" in the navigation tree in the left hand side of the window, then over on the right click on the word file, and then below, in the "value" text entry field you can change the name from the default (XPStuff.xp).
