AI - Terrans are building shipyard right next to each AI's home star system

I lost the save to give you a screenshot but the AI just dropped a shipyard the 2nd hex away from my home planet. Later on I noticed that they did this for every AI. It's a silly tactic but probably shouldn't do that.

That is interesting. I haven't seen that. They are orphans so they can't build transports and populate them. Did you notice if they were sponsored? If they are well sponsored they could turn out a lot of fighting ships right next door.

Somehow I doubt the AI is smart enough to even sponsor them. It is a silly tactic any way you look at it.
