Yep, I went back to 3.5 until the signal block is fixed............. I couldn't communicate with the MotherShip.

probably reason xp start menu isnt skinning properly is, alot of skins need updated and tweaked, ones that done support WB4 yet. As there is quite alot of WB4 stuff in skinstudio

yeah... I lost my psycic abilities too when I installed it... finally the voices are gone....

so far, I like it. seems faster. I am having a problem though with the task bar on start up. I like only my three most frequenly used shortcuts to be visble on the task bar and even though i have the task bar locked, ALL the links show everytime i start my computer. I also had a problem getting WB to sart with windows but I think ive got that straightened out now.

is anyone having trouble with the explorer backgrounds.... mine arent skinned??? actually I don't have any.. and I wanted to check them out... by the way I just bought toon-xp, the video doesn't do it justice, it is good...

It's disabled in 3.9 or something like that, zman. I remember reading about it in the newsgroups...

... or else I'm totally off-base and remembering something else. *sighs*

if it is that is sad I saw the cool backgrounds in the screen shots, but you sir a memory I think I saw that in a news group too...

Well I don't know, everything is working fine for me, the only problem is that there are not enough shell styles around.

Give it a week or two. I'am sure there will be.

Must be a gender thing, the signals from the 'father ship' are loud and clear.
Nothing locked up and a few nifty suprises so far, even one or two of the apps that were on my own excluded list are skinning now.
Looking good with the revised Beacon blinds ......

Is it possible that a video card would affect windowblinds. Or more accurately, a lack of one.

I have a gateway budget machine which has everything integrated into the motherboard.

I have the toon xp running and so far i've noticed that the backgrounds aren't skinning, the web view area isn't skinned in the custom color version, and the object bar skin is having trouble working together with wb4... tried colony, and backgrounds didn't work their either...

Delicious: Very much so. Make sure you have the latest drivers for what graphics hardware you do have. I think the next version of WB out on ODNT will also have a few tweaks to handling per-pixel and start menu transparency, so be on the lookout for that too.
