WB 3.9 alpha niggles

I'm sure this is being looked at already, but I've noticed sometimes buttons, the top frame image and scrollbars turn black.

Also for anyone in the UK using BTInternet you will need to exclude your dialer.exe from WB - WB3.9a stops it working

This thread looked so empty so Old Crab is going to just reply by saying - yes I've noticed it too - Alpha releases are notorious for being unstable (even Stardock Alphas)(horrors did I type that?). Anyway this thread is no longer lonely. Since OC lives in Texas the second half doesn't apply.

Seems to run OK in Oz, but then again, I'm only running the few skins designed or updated to 3.9.

I've posted a bit in the newsgroups, but just my 2 cents: This is the most stable, and so far most trouble free alpha of anything that I've ever run.

I haven't tried 3.9a yet - I've downloaded it, just haven't installed it yet (I was playing with blackbox and reliving my old Mandrake days. ^_^)

I am running W2k @ work (XP @ home) and am wondering if anyone has 3.9 running on 2k?

I haven't tried it yet because the CM says it's for XP only(at this time).

Anyone??
Should I be the guinea pig?

It only supports XP at this time. XP is quite different than the previous OSes, so I really wouldn't suggest it.

I am somewhat familar with how developers work and ifthey say only works on one OS or another they generally mean it.

Any idea/schedule for 2k support in WB4?

That's what I would like to know. I have w2k and I seen the WB4 in component manager. I knew it was for XP only, but I thought I would try it anyway since a lot of things that work for XP usually works for 2000 too. So I downloaded it and tried to install it, but it said that it was for XP only and that WB4 for all the other OS's would be coming out soon.

But, the question is...when?

I asked the people who should know, and they said "February". I would assume mid February, but I really don't know for sure.
