Beta 6: Repair time starbases/ships

 

This is something I noticed when the terrans attacked my starbase which has 250 structural points.

 

I won, but I sustained heavy damage and my starbase only had a structural integrity of 34.

 

So what's your point? Well, it seems to heal/repair itself....but only at a staggering low 1 point per turn!! So it would take me 216 turns, to get back at full strength!!

 

In my opinion, this is way too slow, that way it would be quicker to shred the whole place, and just start a new one. Or make an option, to pay extra to speed up repairs, or maybe, it just needs rebalancing

 

PS not sure if ships also heal at a slow 1 point/per turn and of course there are the self-healing techs as well (or did I miss a starbase module for this as wel, haven't researched it yetl)

 

Also a gameplay idea: make it so, that in order to invade a certain planet you have to destroy the starbase orbiting it first (like a planet defence shield/ anti bombardment shield). Make it even a special module, using a special resource, that way it would put even more value into mining special resources.

could add something extra to the game ;-)

Ships also have the 1 hp per turn 

i believe this should be boosted to 10% per turn 

with the race perk adding another 5/10 % per turn 

another 10 % being possible while in a starbases ZOI 

and another 10% from a fleet module
