Upgrading to 4.0?

So, if I'm an owner of Window's Blinds presently (bought and paid for) I can't just upgrade to 4.0 without buying the full Object Desktop? I was under the (probably mistaken) impression that WB was freely upgradeable for a year or something after you paid for it. No big deal, I just would rather only pay for what I use, which is WB not any of the other components. Will there be an option to buy only the components that you want in the future?

Thornz is correct...us OD users get to have the 'not quite yet done' version but if you like raw eggz then you can subscribe to OD for the less than ready for prime time versions

Flibberetygibbets, you may want to consider buying the whole package. It really is a good bargain for under $50. There is so much stuff included it's almost overwhelming.

Too much stuff for me to keep track of.

Yes, you can upgrade to WB 4 without buying Oject Desktop. But it won't be for free. Your payment for WB 3 gives you a license good for versions in the 3.x series. Your license does not cover version 4.x. (I can't recall offhand if WB 3.x licensees get a discount if they upgrade to 4.x. You should be able to get the info at the stardock site.)

If you bought it recently you'll probably get it for free (depending what Stardock define as "recent") - otherwise, yes, it'll be an extra upgrade, probably around $10, or you could upgrade to ODNT for $35.
