For now, yes. Only Object Desktop subscribers have access to Alpha and Beta versions.
When the final release comes out, I'm sure there will be a shareware version to download.

vickey61, an OD subscription is well worth the money if you have it to spend. You get all the updates/upgrades(new versions) of the software for an entire year, unlimited downloads on wincustomize, less slow downs on the site, and of course get to test software early like the wb4 alpha

Go get it Vickey. Object Desktop is unbelievable value when you consider what you get. The freeware proggies are very limited, if that's all you're used to, you're in for a pleasant suprise! It's only $49.95 away... https://www.stardock.com/products/

yes, I'm sure it is I purchased windowblinds last year & I love it I just thought since I all ready had it I could use WB's4

Unfortunately WB registrations are only valid for the major version bought (ie 3.x), so you'll probably need to upgrade for about $10 (or $35 if you get ODNT), unless it was really late last year, in which case you might get a free upgrade. (/me doesn't know when the cutoff date is)

I know I am going to renew my OD subscritpion. It is worth it.

My renewal should be coming up shortly. 3rd year and I can't wait. This software just keeps getting better and better.

Hate to say this again, but get OD I have had for 2 years, and it's excellent value, as well as great software

I just recently purchased the upgrade fom WB3 to OD and I am unbelievable happy with it. Not only do you get the WB upgrades, you get the full versions of things like Icon Packager, WindowFX and other things that aren't available for purchase seperately.

Hate to sound like a broken record, BUT, get it, you won't be sorry.

(This P.S.A. brought to you by a happy customer, not a Stardock empolyee.)

I concur on getting OD, even though I don't have it yet lol. I haven't since one of the programs I really like "Desktop X" doesn't work very fast for me right now. But once I get my new computer, one of my first purchases will be OD. I've used Windowblinds faithfully since version 2.x and never use my computer without it.
WB4 sounds like another surefire winner, so definitely a good time to jump on the bandwagon if you haven't already jumped on.
