How do I create object with DirectX??

I am trying to create objects in DirectX, and I am using Adobe Photoshop to create a PNG file. But when I create it, and create the mouse over/away it looks really crappy. For example, I'm trying to create a SonicStage object, and I'm using the SonicStage icon in Photoshop. I start with a small picture and increase to a larger one. What I'm trying to do is make a zoom object. But when I mouse over the object I make, the pictures aren't centered. They appear at an angle. So when I mouseover the small icon, the last picture that appears is over to the right. The pictures don't appear on top of each other. If anyone could help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks a lot everyone!!

Hi Zach, I'm assuming you mean "Desktop" X? I am going to e-mail you a small tutorial in the form of an image. This will explain everything you need to know. I hope you are using the e-mail in your profile!

Hey BoXXi, if possible, could you swing a copy of that template my way, too? I'm curious to see your method for keeping them centered. Thanks!
