Portals' list view truncates last two characters

Hi! I don't know why but in some cases at portals when list view is set, the filenames truncates (i don't know if that is the word) last two (or three) characters.

I tried changing the filenames and I noticed that the trouble maybe it's related to the uppercase letters. For example, if the filename is "askdjacksdjacksdjcasjk" it doesn't truncates anything, but if the filename is "Askdjacksdjacksdjcasjk" (notice that the first letter is in uppercase) it shows "Askdjacksdjacksdjca...". It does that no matter how long the filename is, even if you name it "Pi", it shows "P."

Is there a way to deactivate or fix it? I tried with detailed view and it doesn't has this problem, but actually I don't like having the "sorting bar" in there because it's not translucent.
