well, I'm not a lurker but I also missed the entire thing. I've tried to piece it together from the various posts, but I'm not a detective...so I'm left confused. The problem is that, since I missed everything, all I'm left with is missing 2 people that, as far as I know, are great folk. I didn't see JM being "horrid" (an adjective given to JM somewhere), I didn't see Shmoopy doing anything negative. I have no idea what part Phooey played in all this (it sounded as though JM attacked him) All I know is there aren't here anymore and that is sad. I'm with Elfkura on all this.

I just want to see all this sorted out and have all the folks back here where they should be. Perhaps time will heal all wounds.

I agree with Wolf.. I was asleep when all hell broke loose. I'm not taking anysides because I didn't see. Plus I wouldn't take any in the first place. All I can say is hopefully it blows over soon and things go back to semi normal. And maybe peace will be brought back to WC.

I guess it's up to all of us to bring things back to some sort of normalcy. She will not be back as it stands.

I too missed the fracas and wouldn't dream of making a judgement or taking sides. THat said, I think AngEla is way cool and I'll miss her input.

However, I have the utmost respect for the admins on this board and am quite sure no decisions were made easily or in haste.

I've been speaking to Angela for the last couple of days. She is well and in good spirits. Some confusion over recent events needs to be cleared up though. Admins had nothing to do with her leaving and did not exile her - she chose to leave. She may want to come back sometime, but not just yet. Please respect her wishes. A lot of people miss her, but going over things again and again is achieving nothing however sad you may feel. Right now the best way to help her would be to let this subject drop.

If anyone wants to mail her, I'm sure she would appreciate knowing you care.

I just want a few words of seriousness in this thing.

I've spent much of my time in this community because I believed I have some sort of influence here, where people, however unlikely, may respect what I have to say and stand. Differences within this community shall not be justified by banning (or exiling in this case) of any members unless it is absolutely necessary. I also believe the main reason why there are even ranks on this board is to let the people sort out their differences by themselves.

No one here on the board will dislike you just because you disagree with somethings other people say. No one here will kick you out just because your opinions are a little bit different or just because you can't skin or understand what most of all these weird things are about... look at me. Differences are sorted out by understanding and respect, something many other communities have failed to put together.

Sometimes, I think my rank is a joke, believing that the only reason why I even made it onto the promotion list is because I am female, but as many members of the board have told me, my voice carries weight, and the citizens of this community are rarely wrong in their understanding of situations. In a way, I want this community to sort itself out by the voices of the people, not the dominant rule of the admins. They've got more important jobs at hand to deal with problems like these... these are what the journeymen are meant to take care of. We're just... the admins' bitches if you will (Note done with extreme playfulness)

Admins didn't exile Angela. I actually believed it may have been a mistake due to confusion. Whatever happens, as I plow my way through the confusion, Angela will forever remain a part of WC. She will be missed if she decides not to return, but just as we welcome you to our community, we will respect your wishes to depart (Elfkura will personally ask an admin to boot your butt if you're rude, obnoxious and egocentric... is that redundant?). I do know that Angela wouldn't mind keeping in touch with all of you through email.

Many may ask why I pursued this issue. It is because I believed that at some point of this whole thing, my foundation... the very thing I stood for may have been violated, and I want it to be sorted out.
