another stupid trick...

many websites have created a NEW trick which traps users into their site...
after you visit a page, in another frame, it goes to another AD site :

http:||media.fastclick....
http:||networks.realplayer....

this is really horrible. everytime when i press [<- BACK] i end up in the same page. is there any way to stop this?

glad that wincustomize doesnt use that!

Try right clicking on the back button and pick a page where you would like to be.

Yeah. I discovered that trick a while ago. Obviously, using the little down arrow on the back button and selecting the page which you want to be on. But newbies won't know that, will they...?

Or just close the tab that page is in, and never visit again.

But you're right - newbies and such won't know about the little down arrow - and that's exactly what thes people are banking on.
