Bug or WAD? AI stealing my ships

Playing my first game atm, and started invading some AI planets.

Every now and again, I get a message that my planet is invaded (no enemy troopships visible though). Any ships I have at that planet, keep my logo, but are defending the now enemy planet.

Planet is invaded or planet has flipped?

if any of those ships have weapons then i dont think an invasion can go through

Thanks for reporting this issue! What you're describing actually sounds a known issue with ships getting "stuck" after the planet has been annexed. A fix is currently being worked by the development team and should certainly be fixed in a future patch. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimate on when a patch or a fix will be released, rest assured we are working on one!

Thanks for the clarification.

 

Also, is there something in the interface where you can find out the chances of planets flipping? And perhaps they could change the wording. If i read things like 'invaded planet' and 'your planet got annexed' sound a lot more like the results of military action then some 'flipping' mechanic.
