I really messed things up this time- Logons/XP problem

I downloaded Logons and was messing around with it and made the mistake of hitting apply. This became a problem because I do not use a logon. I could not shut down at all " can't remember the error". I got rid of the program but now I am still stuck with system still wanting a login. I cannot find where to fix this. In fact I have lost my account user area in the start menu completely.

Have you tried fixing it in the User Accounts Settings in Control Panel?
That's all I have to offer at this point.......... except, maybe System Restore?

Thanks Koasati System Restore did the trick.

I don't think I will ever try to make a logon again though.

Some people never have problems with logons and some people it messes up their machine. Don't understand.

I have this computer all to myself so I don't really need a logon screen. " My husband bought me a new computer a week ago". I was trying to make the wall I made for the SimplyXP cursor a Logon. I think it would make a good one. But not by me and not on this computer.

I used logons on both my computers until they messed up. Don't use logon anymore. A lot of people use it and have no problems. Might try it again, who knows.
