Double-clicking desktop hides fences but not icons inside fences

When I first installed fences, double-clicking the desktop with auto-hide enabled caused the fences to hide including the icons inside the fences. Essentially, I had a clear desktop except for the Recycle Bin.

Now when I double-click the desktop, the fences disappear but the icons inside them remain on visible except without the fence frame around them.

Also, when I drag to another frame, the icons from the fences on the main page appear without the fences around them. My understanding was that the "pages" could have difference fences on them.

However, when I drag the fences on the main page, the icons move with them indicating that they are definitely inside the fences.

Any help appreciated.

Right click the non hiding icons and make sure the option to exclude this icon from Fences Quick Hide is not checked. Do this for each one.

The Exclude option is not switched on for any of the icons or for each fence.
