Game performance using WindowsBlinds...

Just a question overall in regards to high-end gaming while having a WindowsBlinds theme activated; am I goint to take a huge performace hit? I play games like Mafia, Warcraft III, Age of Mythology, etc. Computer is a brand new P4 3 gig, so I haven't noticed any critical slowdowns of any kind, but I just wanted to get some input from anyone in regards to overall resources. Thanks. Take care.

Should make no difference at all. My P4 2.66 & GeForce Ti4200 512Mb DX 9.0 on sysmark2001 benchmarks at 11000 with or without WindowBlinds running. UT2003 runs at an average frame rate of over 90. The lowest average fps I've had was 75, that was at 1280x1024 with all the 'trimmings' turned on. No drain there

I have a Pentium4 2.0Ghz and 256MB and I play Mafia,Commandos,Quake or anything with my Windowblinds running and till the moment i cant blame Windowblinds about any bad performance, I had a few errors and I confirm why or which program make it, but any of them was vinculated to Windowblinds3.5. Good Luck and take care

I haven't noticed a diffrence either and I run a 700mhz AMD Athlon, 768MB Ram, 32mb VDram, But I think what keeps it going is the Ram .. But with my system the way it is until I upgrade I haven't seen a diffrence and I even run other stuff in the background while I play the games. Like UT2003, Delta Force, etc.

P111/500 slot1 Abit BX6 an a gig PC133 running at 100 [old MoBo]...GeForce2...and no performance hit.

Some games call exploder in their menus, etc...so LiteSTEP 'can' be a problem...
