Where are my product serial numbers ?

right click only displays OEM number

When deciding whether I needed to renew my Object Desktop subscription for another year, I decided to check my Stardock Downloads archive and Object Desktop Manager to be sure I had everything archived properly ,including all SERIAL NUMBERS. When right clicking to show serial number for pasting to clipboard , all that is displayed is the OEM number, which of course is the same for all the software included in the Object Desktop Suite. This is troubling for me. Am I not permitted to install and use the software that I have been paying for for years if I don't renew my subscription ? I'm not really concerned whether I can get updates or not, this is simply an economics issue for me. For those of you who don't know me very well, I'm a disabled veteran...I'm completely blind in one eye as well as a few other injuries, and the monthly disability payments make it very difficult to make ends meet sometimes. I would just like to continue using the software without having to pay the $30 for the subscription.     -- Ace --

If your subs is no longer current all it means is you can't get updates. So yes you can keep using what you paid for so long as it's already INSTALLED.As for OEM numbers object desktop is a suite therefore separate serials isn't required unless you buy them as stand alone is my understanding.

You may be able to reinstall a product when subs have run out but only up to the point you originally had a running sub so subs run out in feb 2015 you MAY be entitled to updates that were issued in feb 2015 but not after, however because it's subs based it would be up to stardocks discretion.Obviously for actual facts about what's can & can't be done it'd be best to contact stardock directly as what i've written here is what i've seen in the forums over the years

edit: $30 per year works out at 57c per week, let the sub lax for a year while saving you'll have the money in a years time, however there are the odd sales & member sub give away's if a member has too many

If the program you are trying to install is part of ObjectDesktop, the OEM number is all you want. As scorpNZ said. Only programs that are not part of ObjectDesktop need an individual serial key.

Examples being CursorFX and ObjectDock.
