How long will that maintence take if that closing is permanent ?

As I understand it the reason it is closed (occasionally) is generally so that the admins can do their administration tasks. With the amount of people connected to this site most of the time the admins often do not get a fast enough connection to the database to get serious work done. Also if there is a major update needed on the database structure or something there needs to not be anyone using it. Yes it's annoying but it would be more annoying if nothing ever got approved or changes to the database were never made because people wanted it up 24/7.

Read the thread by Frogboy " Libraries down for Maintenance", which is self explanatory.

Fair enough guys, geeze, give them a chace to update! I have websites of me own!

redwolfmf: If you purchased Stardock software, you simply need to cross reference your Wincustomize account with your Stardock account. Click on the "Edit Account" link at the top of any page, then click the "Cross Reference with your Stardock Account" link on the page that opens. Paying customers are not locked out of the libraries. So, the only people who should be complaining are those who have contributed nothing or purchased nothing.

I'm not complaining, I've been adding to the site, but just don't have the money to buy anything yet. I prodict in less than a month I'll have the product.

If I'am not mistaken, the new server went online just under 300,000 members. We now have over 1/2 million members. It won't be long that the site will start slowing down again. It might be wise for the new people to consider subscribing so we(WC) can start looking into getting more equipment to run this site smoother and faster to accomodate the influx of people. I'am sure everyone can see the need for this. $20 for 2 years is very reasonable.
