ok guys I have a new program and was wondering if anyone knew about it..

Ok I just want to thank you all again for the links to the psp and adobe photoshop tutorials and help. But I recently got my hands on a program called "Maxon cinema 4d xl v7.20" and I have absoutly no clue on how to use it. For those of you who dont know what it is,if you've ever seen the movie final fantasy the spirits within thats the kind of computer animation you can create with this program,or like with the cinimatics you see with your computer games.. I would really like to learn how to use this program so if anyone knows anything about it please drop me a note with any info you can spare.. thanks much..

That kind of program must have cost you a fortune SEM. Surely there would be manuals and so on?

I have a similiar program but only does text. It will take you time to learn that program because of the detailed draw that needs to be done. Those programs don't make 3d graphics but make 2d graphics appear 3d by the lighting and shading. I am still trying to learn the one I have.

Good Luck and there is a tutorial and newsgroup for support through their home page.

$595 US....for that I'm sure you'll have lots of juicy reading of those 'RTFM's....and I see even free technical help, too....so why exactly do you need to ask here for help?....

[boyishly innocent question]

At least they brought this program up.. I'm interested in checking it out.

You know, I just found out like a week ago what RTFM meant.. And I've dealt with computers for a very long time. But on my own... My main thing was troubleshooting also, so I don't know where I missed this. I would of told many people this. But than I wouldn't of made money

So much for my 'innocent question'...

I doubt anyone will be willing to assist you in your career of 'crime', Master sexy eyed man...

As Fuzzy mentioned, 'warez requests/offers' will get you exiled [banned] quick-smart.

I'm currently considering whether it's 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down', even as we speak...

Maybe I'm feeling magnanimous....maybe another Admin will be less-so....ah, life is just full of uncertainties...

omg you guys! i never said i stole it.. i suppose maybe I made it sound that way... I went half and half with a buddy burned a second copy and gave a copy to a friend. so.. I guess you could say I "half stole it" now is that such a crime! but he has all the books and i have none. just the program. I guess i figured either way you guys would give me "sh*t" if I even told you that.. So yea while I did "PAY" for half of it I dont have any of the books.. you guys i swear.. Like a pack of hungry wolfs ::oh wait there's my arm over there::

and i was just trying to be nice to offer the program to someone.. Barny taught me well.. But hey. i know nothing about warez or whatever it means.. Was just trying to be nice thats all.. Dont banish me or hate me :*(

Sexy there is no such thing as stealing half of it. You paid for half of one license to use the program. That means that you and your 'partner' get to decide who will be using the program on one machine at any given time. Making another copy and installing it on a another machine is "Full Stole it". Not understanding that point is a big problem.

ok you guys maybe your right. Im not one to argue and I suppose maybe I was just lookin to save a few bucks and help out a friend..tell ya what.. Ill uninstall my copy and destroy the disk and get my half of the money back and save up for a rainy day to get my own copy.. I guess ill just stick with what I have in adobe and paint shop..

sexy eyed man...the problem we have with the use/promotion of warez is that this site is wholly paid-for by a company which is often the target of warez use, in other words, the entity which 'freely' gives you, sexy eyed man' access to all these skins and walls, etc, and facilitates your interaction on this site with everyone else here has to contend with having their product and livelihood stolen from them by [predominantly] kids who cry they cannot afford to pay.
Personally, I cannot afford to pay for a Ferrari, either, but I won't be going out and steal one....

By now you clearly know what warez is, and that its use is not acceptable here.
It isn't an argument, it is a statement of position, and appropriate conduct.

Whether the whole, wide world partakes in CD copying or not does not alter its illegality...
Duh! It just doesn't sink in does it. Copying a program CD is a license infringement, therefore illegal. Copying a music CD is a copyright infringement, therefore illegal. Just because you do it at home does not change the law.

Does that mean the replicator on the Enterprise makes illegal copies?
Only if it replicates copyrighted items.......

Citizens of the 23rd century are not interested in material gain so the objects have no value, therefore the copyright question doesn't come into it. The only copyright in the 23rd century is on intellectual property, such as the holographic Doctor's holo novel
