WindowBlinds not skinning some scroll bars

I have the registered version of WindowBlinds, but it still doesn't skin the scroll bar in Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer. Does anyone know why it's not skinning these scroll bars and how can I get it to work?

Thanks in advance!

Are you using Windows XP?

I don't think 2000 supports scrollbar skinning for IE6, I think it only works for XP.

:olitely points Adam to the first post where it says "I have the registered version of WindowBlinds," then smiles and steps back into the shadows::

Incidentally, I'm using XP and IE6, and it doesn't skin the IE scrollbars either.

Interesting... haven't used IE in so long that I had to bring it up to check - with XP and IE6 on my system, Windowblinds -does- skin scrollbars. What doesn't get skinned for me is the bottom right part of the status bar which says what security zone you're currently in.

Now Opera - my Opera scrollbars don't get skinned.

Opera has it's own personal skins

Come to find out it doesn't work right for MSN Messenger either. The little buttons at the bottom that says Block, Font, and Emoticons are missing, but the scroll bars are skinned. What's going on with this thing? Should I try reinstalling it or something? I have IE6, but I don't use it. I just opened it to see if it was skinned too. I use MSN 8 and it's not skinned either.

MSN8 is not skinnable, it has it's own skin thing built in. MSN Messenger should be skinned to some degree, if it looks weird try another skin because Messenger looks OK here.

I have the XP skin for Messenger. When I had the unregistered version of Windowblinds installed it worked fine, but since I upgraded to the registered version it makes the little buttons on messenger dissapear. Is there anyway to disable just the buttons for messenger?

Yea, like Kith said.. MSN is like AOL, you can't do anything with a 3rd Party program to skin them. They have their set limits.

Now the messenger problem. I don't use it.. I use Trillian.. I love that program. 5 messageners in 1

Well, I don't know what the deal is. I had no problem with the shareware version. I have tried everything I know to do and nothing works. Guess I will just contact tech support on this one.

Thanks for your help everybody!
