Little help please

Hey, whats goin on.

I know this problem has to do with Windowblinds. When I reboot or startup, my SpyStopper and Sysmetrix encounter problems.

You know, that message, 'Spystopper has encountered a problem and must close. We are sorry for the inconveniance'.

Only these two and it doesn't happen every time. I just formatted almost a month ago and everything was cool and then Spystopper started doing it.

Now Spystopper and Sysmetrix do it but sometimes Sysmetrix will be the only one.

Before I formatted it did it with Sypstopper and I didn't have Sysmetrix.

Any suggestions? Uninstalling and reinstalling won't do it. It's weird because sometimes neither will have a problem.

Now, when I first installed Windowblinds the problem didn't occur. Then Spystopper started and after about a week Sysmetix started.

No problems with WinDoctor or DiskDoctor and I've optimized a few times.

Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to exclude the offending apps from being skinned by WindowBlinds (you do that in the WindowBlinds configuration). If it still happens after the apps have been excluded, it is not WB that is doing it.

Thanks for that program Weaksid. But I already use WinWash for my Internet and document history and also use Norton Utilities and Tweak XP.

I like the registry optimizer/cleaner and the system cleaner. Will probably buy it, thanks again.

Out of the four times I rebooted after I ran that program, only once was there no errors .

KarmaGirl, Sysmetrix does not get skinned and is not affected by Windowblinds but is a skin itself used for metering your computer and is also a clock.

If Windowblinds is affecting Spystopper then what is affecting Sysmetrix...hmmm?

I will exclude Spystopper and see what happens.

Any other suggestions, I would appreciate it.

I'm sure KarmaGirl knows what Susmetrix is....but she wasn't sure you did...

WB has an option to notify Stardock as to what skin you are using...for popularity info...and I expect that may be triggering your 'Spystopper'....if so, just uncheck the option in WB...
