Logitech cordless mouse question

Anyone have one of these. I am trying to figure if mine is working right. I do not understand why the light on it blinks even after the computer is turned off and it has not been touched.

It's brand new sense Sunday. I really like how the Logitect customer suppot works. The website is useless and to call for questions you have tp pay lond distance. But, if you want to by something you can use a 800 #. >
/me says maybe you guys on on to something, her new cursor is trying to phone home.

My wife has a Logitech cordless, but it has no light, so you must mean the Cordless "Optical" mouse. I have one, and the blinking is normal. The mouse is always on, unless you remove the batteries. The mouse has 4 power modes, in use it flashes 1500 times per second, stop using it and it slows to 100 flashes per second, leave it alone and will slow to 10 flashes per second, and finally down to 2 flashes per second.

Probably more info than you wanted, but now you know what's going on.
