The location depends on the OS, the name is Start Menu.

For XP, look in C:\ Documents and Settings.... there you will find folders for each user profile, as well as one for 'All Users'. The Start Menu for each profile is in those folders.

I don't know if you can do short cut key commands with Object dock or not but if you hold control and press esc that should work.
"ctrl + Esc"

The feedback in this thread helps, but when you replace your Windows Taskbar, you'd think that it would include the first thing on every Taskbar: the Start Menu.

I tried creating a shortcut to the Start Menu as a new item on Object Dock, but it only opens up a Window Explorer view of the Start Menu, which only contains the Program Files for that user any way...not the real Start Menu.

Note that if your keyboard has a Windows Key, you can use that to access the convetional Start Menu, but I'd like to have access to a ONE-CLICK button on my ObjectDock toolbar replacement.

Any ideas on how to implement this? I just got it today.

thanks.

I found an answer to this question in another thread:

Note: Cut and paste the text and save the file with a .vbs extension. Then make the link in the "Dock Item Properties" point to the script you create.
