Where do wallpapers go and can you get rid of the stock ones?

What is the default folder that wallpapers are stored in, and can you get rid of (safely) some of the stock ones that come with XP?

I don't know about XP, but in win2k they are in c:\winnt and yes, you can delete them all but the one you have selected to use.

Starting with 2k Windows searches for walls in the win-dir (c:\winnt or c:\windows) and in 'My Pictures'.

Newtron..the walls for XP are in c:\windows\web\wallpaper, and if you have images in your 'windows' directory they will be available too via your display properties.

Any and all of them can be deleted...
