WindowBlinds issues with Logitech Gaming Software

Besides causing issues with Firefox 35 (the subject of another tread here), WindowBlinds also affects the Logitech Gaming Software that I use for my gaming mouse in my Windows 8.1 laptop.

The Logitech software will crash if I try to add a program or change the icon to any of the profiles it has. Also, there will be no icon in the notification area; only a blank space. The software works fine on my Windows 7 desktop, which does not have WindowBlinds. Trying to troubleshoot the issue, if I unload WindowBlinds, or choose the default (ugly) Windows 8.1 skin, then everything is fine with the Logitech software (and Firefox as well).

Is there any way I could get a slightly older version of WindowBlinds until the problems get fixed? I didn't have these issues with the version I was using a couple months ago (which I probably should had saved).

Which version do you have now? The current release version is 8.06 and the beta is 8.09. I do suggest trying the beta if you would.

You can login an download the beta here if you wish: https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products

I was using 8.06, but that beta seems to have fixed my problem with the Logitech software. Thanks!

As for Firefox, I found out that if I disable hardware acceleration in the options, the program will not crash and work fine. It would not be the first time I've had issues when that option is checked.
