Icon title transparency in WIN2k ? how ?

hope this question was not asked too many times before.

so how can i make my icon font transparent in win2k ?
i hate this ugly background color in the field.

ps: this has nothing to do with wincustomize....just want to know how to do it manual.

ok thx, but aint there a opportunity to do it by windows ?
i think i can remember to win98 where i did it before....

or am i wrong ?

i just hate extra programs to customize around, they need ressources and always this gay taskbar icons and loading times....

Das ginge denn wohl nur mit einem Registry-Eingriff, wenn überhaupt... Eine manuelle Methode kenne ich allerdings auch nicht...

Removal of the title backgrounds has generally only been achieved with a third party program...wasn't native to the OS.

And try to improve your vocabulary....'gay' is a childish adjective...
