Problem with transparent explorer windows in WindowBlinds

Hi Guys help please! have just purchased object desktop and am trying to make the windows explorer backgrounds transparent. the faq says to make sure i'm using "windows classic folders" (which I am) and also set the checkbox to ticked in the advanced "make explorer backgrounds semi transparent" box.. Have done both of these but my explorer windows are still not transparent!! Am using Win XP, P4 2.8Ghz, with a decent graphics card so hardware should not be a problem... Any ideas whats wrong?? Thanks

I don't know if that feature ever really worked as you would expect it to. I would suggest using WindowFX for any kind of transparency. If you are not using the full OBject Desktop package here is the link:

Personally, when I was using Windows98SE, it did work. But, when I upgraded to WindowsXP it stopped working for me too. Not that it worked well in wodows98SE. The transparency only showed the desktop wallpaper through the exploer windows, and not any open windows on the desktop. But, at least it worked somewhat. Please excuse the grammar, I'm not writing an essay.
