help with attachments in Outlook Express please...

Outlook Express has suddenly stopped me from opening any attachments, it says they are unsafe, even when I know they are from a reliable source.
Does anyone know how to stop it from doing this? I have a very important attachment that I need to open.

You have somehow set the security settings too high. Go to tools>options>security and uncheck the 'Do not allow attachments to be saved.....'

I am suspicious of their windows updates. I think at the same time they are making some security changes. I used to use the "send page by email" option a lot. Now, most of the time, I can't.

RckneMike: do you have any kind of anti pop-up software installed to avoid seeing ads? these programs limit internet explorer to 1 run at a time.
