Newbies and the puke icon

It seems that some newbies think it's cool to put the puke sign while commenting on artists work. This seems like a lack of class. If you don't like a certain work then move on or politely say so without the puke icon. If you think you can create something better, do so. Remember, these people spend hours and days doing this for free. So show some class.

WOM, could not agree more. To take it one step further, get rid of that offensive icon altogether. On a sophisticated site such as this it is not necessary or appropriate. What say the Admins?

The only time I think I used it was when I was having cookie problems and learned I had to toss mine. I think a thumbs up icon would be good.... Or a little heart.

I think it is ok to use a happy icon to celebrate or something, but if you are going to tell someone something negative I think you should have to take the time and effort to spell it out along with an explanation. Since that involves a little more thought and effort, that might put some of the trolls off.

They should Keep it for comety releaf only.The puke icon that is.I think that people should consentrate on the positive,when making remarks on skins and stuff.If you can't say any thing nice about some ones work don't say any thing at all.Exception to the rule is if there is a problem with The skin file that causes it not to work. Maybe the author can fix it.If they know about it.

I find absolutely nothing funny about the puking emoticon at all. I actually can't stand it and usually won't reply to a comment left by someone who does. Seems useless and out of place on a nice site like this one.

I wouldn't miss its loss....[I have the animation disabled anyway so it looks like the other one]...

To me, these two are much alike...

...when there's no 'animation'...

There's certainly no harm in raising 'standards' of communication...

Using it on the message board is one thing, but when you use it while commenting on someone's work I think it's a bit much. If I've ever used it even on the messageboard, I cannot remember. >

You can sign my name on the petition to remove the puking icon...
I've been guilty of using it myself in the past, and I've had it applied by others to me.
I see no good reason to keep something so obnoxious on a quality site like this one.
