Window Blinds vs. DesktopX (What is the difference?)

Thanks guys for the previous advice on buying ObjectDesktop. I am going to download it right now! It says I get one year worth of updates.

Hopefully this is not too lame, but I have 2 more questions:

1. If I get both WindowBlinds and DesktopX in the package, can I use both of them at the same time or do I have to choose to run one or the other at a given time?

2. What are the major differences between WindowBlinds and DesktopX? Don't they kind of do the same thing?

Thanks again... and many thanks to all of the talented people out there that spend their time creating these great skins! Awesome work.

Hey,

windowblinds is a program that allows you to skin your startbalk, en startmenu, and also the upper balc of your windows.
Desktop X allows you to skin your desktop! you can make buttons, clocks and all stuff ON your desktop, even a mp3 player!

desktop x actually makes the system run completey different... it allows your desktop to be object oriented... everything is treated as an object, and there is more than just icons... you can have anything you want embeded into it... like active desktop but on steroids... you can have your own mp3 player as part of your startmenu... or movies, system performance meters, even containers with icons in them... you can emulate mac os's dock, and menu along the top, you can turn your system into anything you want... however desktop x doesn't skin the windows or the start menu... that is done with window blinds, and web blinds... those two skin all of your windows, title bars, buttons, and even parts of the system that arent skinned by windows luna interface... hope all of this makes sense to you...
