Looks like they got the music thing...

I just read an artical in the NY Times that says you will be able to download real music at reliable quality. So sites like Pressplay, MusicNet and Rhapsody will have real up to date songs. Has anybody else heard of this?

What do you mean "real music" and "real up to date songs"? Can't we do this already?

Don't know about the others, but Pressplay has an excellent music library, fast streams, and high bitrate. And a free trial, so you can form your own opinion.

Well I though sites like Kazaa might have many to choose from but it is far more reliable if it came from a source that authenticates the download. This way you know what your getting. Before they did not have much of a library of songs. From what I read, soon you will be able to get recent single releases.

Kazaa is not a site. It's a peer-to-peer network, meaning you download the stuff directly from other people's machines. Now whether or not the filename matches the actual content of the files depends on the truthfullness of the person whom you're downloading it from.

As for not having a big library or no recent songs: highly doubt it.
