WindowBlinds

I have the latest version of WindowBlinds (Full Version) Yet when I open my kazaa it slows the computer down and takes forever to load up kazaa. Everything else is pretty much mine though. Can somebody tell me what's wrong and how I can fix the problem? Thanks!

stop using kazaa with all that spyware and adware your bogging down your system... if you really need kazaa then just prevent windowblinds from skinning it by creating a "per application setting in windowblinds config" I doubt this will help cause I think your trouble is not WB its kazaa.

Having 'Kazaa' makes one wonder exactly 'how' one may have got such proggies as 'Windowblinds'.

Kazaa is just living proof that there are Aussies just as interested in copyright thievery as was the case with Napster. I guess low-life comes in all flavours...

jarget agrees with Jafo.

Wombat thirds the motion.
'Thinks .... why would anyone pirate a low cost proggie like WB?'
Photoshop I can sort of understand, Microcrud, just as a matter of principal ..... but we're only jumping to conclusions here.
Jafo, I ran IE Spell-Check and both 'principal' and 'principle' got through ..... a dyslexic spell-checker????????

Principal.... major party or amount, school authority, capital

Principle.... a rule or standard (especially of good behavior, rule of personal conduct....

not dyslexic spellchecker, only a dyslexic language that we use....

Ummm, when did we start attacking people for asking questions here, or did I miss something Jafo. The post did not mention anything about pirating WB or anyting of the sort, and I don't think we should start assuming the worst of people without some sort evidence to the contrary. The sentence "Everything else is pretty much mine though" is not a complete indicator of theft, and actually I'm not sure what it means...

Hey Led, does this slow down only occur when you open Kazaa or is it any heavy program?

Bill...call it an 'innocent' question as to the use of 'Kazaa' and the phrase "have the latest version of WindowBlinds (Full Version)".
If they truly ARE unrelated statements then fine but 'Kazaa' is for facilitating 'file-sharing' which beggars the question...

I'm guessing..... "Everything else is pretty much mine though" = "Everything else is pretty much fine though"

I have a hard time believing that someone who is a subscriber to the site (notice the Skinbrowser icon in his post?) would use Kazaa to download a copy of WB. That isn't logical.

Also, just on another note, there are legitimate uses for file sharing programs. My friends and I create maps for a driving game that we play. Since none of us have web sites, that we could upload these tracks to and they are to large to e-mail, we transfer them to and from each other using file sharing programs.

Shakey, the icon doesn't mean he's asubscriber. The shareware version put's the icon up also.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks, WOM. It's good to learn something new.

Shakey, yes, there ARE legitimate uses for file-sharing, just as there are/were royalty-free MP3s 'shared' via Napster.

And then there are more common uses...

Oh, I completely agree with you. I'm not so irrational as to believe that most users aren't using these P2P app's for less than legal means. I just don't like condemning the application when it is the users abusing it that give file sharing a bad name.

I'm an amatuer woodworker. Me and my woodworking buddies share files all the time. We also share saws, hammers, nail, the whole package.

Speaking of wood. If a woodchuck could chuck wood, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck?

I happen to use Kazaa LITE..which is a stripped version of Kazaa without the spy ware. However it never occurred to me to use it for warez searches...I use it merely for MP3 downloads. It is the fastest one for MP3s that I have found. I used winMX for about a week, and did not like it one bit.

.....and those MP3s are all publicly licenced for free download, royalty free?....
