NextStep and small icon problem!

I don't understand, first off - nextstep is a pretty sweet program from what I can get of it to work, but my task and stuff are small icons with a little backround.. like 16x16 - - i've messed around wtih it and still dont know how to get it longer - I mean, the heighth is fine, but the length is as high as the height... (if you get that) Also, the aquazone theme doesn't work for me for some odd reason, anyone eles getting that problem?

In NS 2.8 (and NS 3.0 if you want) tasks are represented as task tiles that grow in a particular direction (left to right, or top to bottom). These tiles can be 16x16 or 32x32 or 48x48. Task tiles can have no backgrounds (and just be icons), have task tiles, and (with NS 3.0 and if the theme supports NS 3.0) be placed on a Start Bar.

YOu can change this however you want by going into NexStart Preferences and going to the TaskList and Systray Preferences tab.

I've been using Aquazone and have had no problems with it.

Argh, I still can't get it to work - I think its just stupid mistakes on my part - do you have msn messanger or something that you can help troubleshoot me through with?

Extasy, we have a #winstep IRC support channel on the Austnet network (a list of Austnet servers is available from http://www.austnet.org/servers/index.html ).

You must be running version 3.0 beta to have non-square task tiles and to take advantage of the new 3.0 aware themes (such as Aquazone). My guess is that you are still running version 2.81, in which case you can download the 3.0 beta from:

http://winstep.skwire.net/winstep/ns3-beta.zip

Do NOT un-install anything and be sure the setup folder matches your current installation folder.
