Copying themes to a new hard disc

I am going to fit a new hard disc to my computer and do not want to lose the skin/theme that I have spent so long customising to my own requirements. How do I copy the existing theme definition to the new disc. Is it simply a matter of copying the required object files as graphic files using the "export selected object" function of Desktop X? Creating a backup using a CD writer and then copying back to the default theme directory on the new disc once objectDesktop has been installed.

I believe so. That is all you have to do.

I copied all the files in the object desktop folder because I didn't want to loose anything again after my computer crashed. Now I have my stuff sfely tucked away (along with other things, exspecially my favorites folder for web sites) on a CD and a 250mb ZIP disk.

You should be able to just back up the .dxtheme file of your theme, and then stick it into the new install of DX.
