Downloading Desktop Themes

Are you saying that they will not download or are you saying that they will not load onto your computer?

Try right clicking on "download" and then select save to target.

I'm saying that they won't download at all. And I tried right clicking, I get an error message saying that a connection could not be established with the server.

yeah, none of the dl's are working for me, also none of the image previews are working either.

Try cross referening your stardock account with WC. You can do this from edit you account. Might fix your problem.

some of us are too broke to buy a stardock account dood.

It could be as simple as setting cookies to be allowed from Wincustomize.com

I would recommend that as the first step..

/me says with much chagrin: This is essentially a 'try me' website NOW. Is this a bad thing? HE*L no! It's essential for any website offering so much for so little just to survive! Ugh! *sigh* They HAD to do this...after all.'..warez folks' could therefore suck up all of the WC goodies with no end in site here otherwise and 'legit' users would be in the same line as the non-pay users...not cool. This site *COSTS* money! BANDWIDTH ain't free and ain't cheap! Why doesn't anyone *GET* this? Does the FAQ have to change your diaper and powder your bum too?

What does this all mean? This means...if you BUY a stardock product (skinbrowser, windowblinds, object desktop etc.) then you have pretty much unlimited downloads here just by being sure to cross-reference your account on WC (wincustomize)...

I didn't even spellcheck this but geez. It just cracks me up that so many want so much for nothin'...this site offers a LOT more than just eye candy...it has a lovely and kind community/family of good folks.

Oh well, I'm tired...I shouldn't be on this soap box anyhow...surely someone will hose me down and that soap will turn into a giant bubble-fest.
