windows blinds or stylexp

If you are new to skins and skinning you 'may' just prefer StyleXP....but if you are a skinner and/or you have been at it a while then mostly you will prefer WindowBlinds.
The eye-candy-general-public doesn't care what they use as long as it's not the default Windows, but the majority of those actually creating the skins will swear by Windowblinds, rather than skinning a 'registry hack'...

I don't know if this is it exactly, but it looks very similar to the iTuned WindowBlinds skin by Cuzzo https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=1&skinid=2942

Jafo was referring to the fact that StyleXP is not acutally a program. It is a crack for Microsoft's theme engine. Most skinners prefer WindowBlinds because of its unmatched flexibility and the fact that it skins far more elements of Windows that StyleXP. StyleXP can only skin "Theme Aware" programs, while WindowBlinds will skin virtually every program. Also, WindowBlinds is in fact faster than the Windows XP skinning engine, which StyleXP uses.
