Error Retrieving Files

I recently purchased an Object Desktop Suite.  I downloaded and installed the Object Desktop Manager with no issues.

However when I run the Object Desktop Manager and try to download and install programs it fails.

 

A download even will fire off in the application and it will say Downloads (Verifying and writing...) in the header above the progress bar, the bar will not move and then I get the following error.

"There was a problem downloading the install file for WindowBlinds8: Error retrieving file"


It doesn't matter which application I try to install I get the same error.  It doesn't matter if I try one item or multiple, same error.

I have a firewall program running and the Object Desktop Manager has full rights to run.

I am running Windows 8, I am an administrator on the computer and I am running the manager with Administrative rights.

I have tried uninstalling, downloading the manager again and reinstalling.  I have rebooted multiple times after installation.

No change.

 

How can I correct this issue?

ODM is a work in progress. As noted, you will get mixed results from time to time.

P.S. Manually save all your installers. In the event you need to reinstall something after your sub expires, your own archives are the only access you will have to them.  ODM will save them for you but if they are corrupted, they are useless.
