software?

hey all,
i'm a complete noob to the whole customizing thing and i had a ?.i was looking through some of the wallpapers u guys(u guys are my idles ) have posted and i noticed on some of them that there was "computer stats".meaning it said on the screen cpu usage,mem. usage,upload rate and download rate,etc....like i said i'm a noob but i am very interested in the program(?) that is used to give u this information.it was displayed right on the screen and very easy to glance over and see all the info.

any info u guys can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.thx in advanced for the info and good day to all of u

If it was text information on the screen then the program is called CoolMon..I think If it was a Skin then most likely it was SysMeter.

Hoss: Go for SysMetrix, it's a very good app.
Also, If you get DesktopX, many of the themes have resource meters built into them via a DX plug-in. That way, it gets integrated into the theme graphics.
