Taken: Who watched it?

Okay, who watched Taken? That was a great series. I almost didn't watch it because I don't generally like "alien" shows but this was like TV crack.

I watched it 2 hours per night for 2 weeks and I loved every minute of it. If they release a DVD, I'll buy it for sure. It is like TV crack, and now I'm craving more. I didn't realize it was a 10 part mini series until I was 3 nights into it, but I was glad to watch it all. I could go for another week's worth, actually.

Nope, haven't even heard of it.

I wasn't going to mention the ending, but I think it could lead to some sort of sequel or a tv series ... I hope.

i saw one episode, and the whole time I wanted to take a baseball bat to the fathers son who was mouthing off and treating his family poorly. It twisted my nerves too much, couldnt bring myself to watch anymore after that

My apologies if I reveled too much about the end for those that want to put themselves through a day of Taken.

Best viewed on a Sat or Sun when run all at one time. Takes an entire day to see so get the popcorn ready.

There are a few good songs in the series

What puzzled me is why the mother of the little girl didn't jump in the _____ with the girl at the end.

Ms Delicious...probably a bit late [for me] but I deleted your 'spoiler'...

Good move Jafo. I wasn't thinking when I made it as I never am.

I would think that the wonderful wizzard would have made sure that Oz had first view of everything.

After many hours of soul searching I respectfully must withdraw my apology.

If a thread is started pertaining to a TV show or Movie then ultimately a comment about the content would be made.

Can I get an Amen on that?

People telling me the ending doesn't stop me from watching the show or movie or whatever....

Fortunately, the only film I 'really' want to see...I know the outcome...I read LOTR many years ago.

Soul searching or otherwise, if the thread topic included a warning about 'spoilers' then there'd be no problem...but a discussion about the merits [or lack of] of a movie need not necessarily divulge the outcome.
Saying 'the ending was crappy' is one thing, but 'the butler did it' is entirely another..

What is the purpose of the end of a story but to give you justification for time spent.

If a story misses that mark then your left scratching your head wishing time was spent better.

However if a show is watched without the expectation of a dramatic ending then the time is well invested. However, promotions were rampant as to the final climax of that show so the expectations was set.

I think MikeB314 was right on the mark when commenting that future investments might be expected.

The first week of the series was fantastic, but the last week left me disappointed, as though I had been... well... 'taken.'

i watched the first episode and part of the 2nd and thought it was the most boring-been-there-done-that piece of crap i've seen. It was so boring i couldnt bring myself to watch the whole second episode. The characters were dull, the actors were dull. Maybe it got better but if i'm going to waste time watching TV its going to be on quality television like Alias. Maybe i shouldn't judge it on 2.5 hours but if it didn't grab me on the first episode then i doubt it would. And i'm a long time die-hard sci fi perso.
