confused xp

I want to try desktop themes but I read that is messes xp all up is this true? should I download this or stay away from it advice greatly appreciated, thanx

I have never had any problems with any Object Desktop components on XP. Anyway, you can always turn it off.

You should back up your files every once in a while whether you use OD or not.

And even more, OD makes XP better.

I have Desktop X, Window Blinds and Window FX running all the time without problems. Of course with alpha or beta components there could be an odd behaviour sometimes (that#s what alphas and betas are ther for, right ?

), but You are always free to switch to the running builds before by keeping them in Component Manager.
