New to editing skin, how do I edit boxes?

Hi, so I am using the fearomone skin, but it has all the edit boxes black, as well anything text related such as microsoft word pages. It makes writing papers annoying because the default font color doesn't contrast very well. I tried experimenting in skin studio but couldn't find the specific thing I need to change. Could someone tell me how to make it back to white?

Background colors. You need to set them right, but then you have a dark skin with not black/dark grey  bg color.

isn't there a down arrow near Show me the skin presets thats let you edit the main color sheme ?

Try to disable skinning for this damn office  application.

Thats not an elegant solution of course , but the only that will work correctly, without any other unwanted  effects.

 

Just an addtional information, cause you`re new to theming like me . Do think you know it already , but i want to be sure you`ve read it at least once:

You schould know   that you normally can`t use even an image or a color preset from another author if you want to upload it on wincustomizeor any other site.

When the skin is free you might get permissions from the original author ( but window blinds skins are not FLOSS/ or  under gpl license).

However if you start theimng a new skin you do use the standard preset in SKS normally....
