Improving the site

Earlier there was an argument about whether or not to do away with the top downloads and top authors sections.

A new idea I didn't see mentioned, simply move top authors/downloads beneath the New Additions and Updated sections.

That way they're still there for the people who use them, but the new works receive a more prominant placement.

Styl skinner - but just want some comments about it, (insults are fine too )

well, i went, i saw, i commented

let me know if this is the sort of comment people want, since normally i refrain from making them. these sort of comments feel like imposing my views on the skinners and artists, which i normally try to avoid.

Hey Jam, Wom...

You can change the way you say something without changing the words by the use of smileys. Well I find you can anyway! For example:

You are very strange
You are very strange

The top one is in a joking way, the bottom one... well, who knows. Could be taken as offensive, even if it isn't.

Unfortunately, that was not the best example. But it was the best I could think of...

Yeah, its a real good feline, it helps skinners on their way, and maybe update it.

I don't have a problem with things the way they are why change? it works... there is always going to be someone with a complaint... but if they don't want to see the top downloads and stuff, they should just ignore it... it's not that hard...

if you want i can wander through all of your wall's, cursorXP and coolplayer skins.

i dont use DX, so i will bypass that one

i dont do this automatically, since it seems "harsh / unfair" to compare someone else's tastes to my own. just the way i am really

words, i've discovered the hard way, are misinterpreted even with the emoticons. if someone has their feelings on their sleeve, they'll interpret Mr Smiley as Mr Smirky. People often see what they want or expect to see, no matter how carefully you phrase.

If you see a post from me without a smiley of any sort then you know it's 'serious'...
