new bee need help!

have windows xp and can't cahange desktop icons with iconpackager says is a system thing. D'nt know how to over ride it. thanks for any help.
new and confused.

it won't let you??? very confusing I will need more info... like the exact error message it gives you... and any other software you may be running that may not let iconpackager change your icons... very interesting...

Perhaps VNY you are not loading an icon package before you make the change.

I don't change icons that often because it gets too confusing as to what is what but when I do I highlight a theme and click the load button and then the apply button. Works every time
