XP professional and your WindowBlinds DONT WORK !!! - PART 2

Thx to all ppl who writen to me.. thx guys

Like i said before i have XP Professional with SP1 and is a fresh XP, without any spybug (i use Symantec NAV and Firewal) or kazza, and i have a mouse logitech but i meet ppl that dont have mouse logitech and still dont work when they are in XP Professional
So i think is just one big solution for my problem: to have Win98 or to wait until will be a new version of WB with this bug fixed.

Thx again

this is total garbage. Your actually naive enough to think that because you use a firewall and nav your immune to spyware, trojans, and virus?

dont blame it on the mouse either. Im using a cordless logitech keyboyard and mouse with no problems. The only person you cab blame this on is yourself, youve got a bad setup, or are lying about it.

Windowblinds does work perfectly with XP Pro.
No 'ifs', no 'buts'.

The fact that it does not work for you personally is not a 'bug' of functionality between WB and XP but more likely a fault with your system or OS/proggy install.

Removing Kazza...[if you had it at any time] won't remove its spy-ware....and AV proggies are not immune from attack or are they foolproof.
I've found 2 'infections' of spyware on my comp....protected by firewall and current AV proggy....never been even near kazza....but just a victim of numerous proggy installs....2 of them were 'dirty'...

OK, copy-paste from your other thread:

gabitzu, it sounds to me like you probably have Kazaa, right?
Well, unfortunately for you, Kazaa installs a spyware program called "Common Names". Common Names interferes witht he Windows title bar in such a way that it makes Windowblinds impossible to use.
Now, your problem is that Kazaa installs all sorts of crap files in your system and a multitude of entries in your registry. It is almost impossible to get rid of it all without a reformat of a system restore.
Just uninstalling Common Names though, will probably take care of the Windowblinds problem, but you will still have garbage left that will continue to make your system unstable.
Use system restore to bring back your system the way it way before you installed Kazaa, then download Kazaa LITE instead. Kazaa Lite doesn't have any spyware included.

gabitzu, I run XP Pro SP1, windowblinds, and KaZaa LITE. No problems here. There is nothing inherently wrong with windowblinds and XP compatibility.

Why do people still persist with the arrogant premise that if a program doesn't work on their system, then all the other 10's of thousands of people who run it trouble-free suddenly don't exist, and that the program is clearly buggy and doesn't work at all?

WB works just fine with my XP pro. I really had some problems with Kazaa though. If it was running nothing else could be done with the computer. Meaning typing, "not that that is important"
I am glad paxx brought up Kazaa Lite, because that is what I use lately and all the problems are gone.
