1.OK, I have win xp home edition and window blinds.
In the "appearence" button i selected "effects" and then clicked on "use large icons".
How can i make so it will only affect on my desktop icons?

2. How can i choose a specific icon from an ip file (if i press on a certain file --> properties ---> change icon)

actually IP files are nothing else than renamed ZIP files. just unpack them and then you´ll have either an ICL or lots of ICOs.

I think WindowFX can help you there. It allows you to size the icons on your desktop I think.

I do not think WindowBlinds changes the way icons look on your desktop.
