Impulse/My Colours - Purchased Games and Other Software inc Desktop Packages

Urgent ..... Am waiting to reformat!!!

Hey folkz - it has been awhile that I have used any of my Stardock software, I never used it much or often as so often gave issues on my computers with other applications as I recall. Currently I want to save and transfer all the Stardock stuff I have onto a flash drive, but cannot remember how to, I wish to reformat and reinstall my xp pro lappy IBM T43.

I first opened My Colours, couldn't see how to save the desktops there, so opened Impulse to try there, my stuff shows, inc. the game I purchased, but how do I save to an archive to transfer and reinstall it? if indeed that is the correct procedure. Impulse will not log in, even after a password reset to ensure I get it right.

I went to the Stardock site, got a password reset to log in, listed my software - most is there, but not the game. Now, I normally save anything and everything as an .exe file in case of reinstall, but nada, zip, nowt, zilch .... not anywhere on here, so I suspect Impulse downloaded and installed it.

How do I proceed and how do I download the game again

Software on the site seems not to be downloadable, the link goes to MyColours_setup.exe on most of the files

- Total Annihilation (that game!).

I understand now some are no longer sold - DesktopX, I guess DesktopX Professional also, but I am a little out of touch, I see no Impulse ... so, How do I go forward with this?

Wasted 4 hours so far looking for answers .....urgently waiting to reformat the laptop ... help/answers would sure be appreciated.

Impulse was sold to GameStop several years ago.  You'll have to download their new client or check their site for info about previous non-Stardock game purchases.

Any available Stardock products can be downloaded from your Stardock account here.

I am having the same problem!!! I go to http://download.stardock.com and try to download all my premium themes but all I'm getting also are links to MyColours_setup.exe.  Tried to execute the setup.exe to see if the themes will download to the theme manager/mycolors but ended up getting nothing.  All the links to the premium theme downloads just points to the re-installing of mycolors to the theme manager.  Stardock...you need to fix these links, we can't download our paid premium themes.

gyardley1 - You're attempting to activate Start8, not ModernMix. Also in the future, please open a ticket for your issue vs bumping an unrelated thread from 2014 :)
