how to make an account?

So i just downloaded the demigod demo, i learned impulse is no longer a thing. So where do i make an account to play Demigod? i.e log into multiplayer?
You can do so from choosing Multiplayer->Internet->Create an account

it doesn't do anything, but i have read the login is your stardock username and password, i tried this but it still does not work
when i click create account, this window pops up, it asks for my impulse username and password, impulse no longer exists, so i entered my stardock/gamestop app username and password, that then prompted the second screen, i tried reentering my stardock info in demigod, but to no avail.
the first screen is on the top left, the second that comes after entering the info is in the bottom right

Actually thinking about it now, I don't believe the demo multiplayer works anymore.
