Sorry, another question for a "newbie" (yes I've already read the FAQ)

In a few of the themes I have, there is something somone told me is called a "roll button" but when I press it nothing happens, can somone tell me what it does or is supposed to do?

Sorry for asking such a dumb question

The only dumb questions are the ones that are not asked.

Roll up does what it says. It moves the bottom frame up to the top frame so all that is showing is the top frame.

Ok so just clarifying...it basically just jumps to the top of whatever you're looking at? like a long text document or webpage? If so, cool...and thanx for the info

Im fairly new to skinning...and Im mad because i had had WINXP for over a year not knowing about windowsblinds, and being mad that xp only had 3 themes (that wernt old windows looks)

No, GreatSW. The window "rolls up", like blinds in your house. The bottom frame of the window goes up to touch the titlebar, hiding the actual content of the window. Like on a Mac.

oh....ok...That button does work and i know what it does...

its another button that u can turn on/off in.out whatever....on most of the thmes its on it looks like a pushpin or something

The pushpin is an on top button.
I hardly ever see a skin with an on top button.

I guess it would come in handy when using an app. that doesn't have an on top feature.

Windowblinds is not only for XP but all Windows.

oooooooh ok thanx...I feel dumb now

Why feel dumb? Nothing wrong about asking basic questions. Not only that, there are probably lurkers out there who didn't ask the question and are going, "Oh, ok. Now I get it." because you did ask.

(I still gotta check out this pushpin thing meself. ; )

its on the current featured skin (runite whatever...i forgot the name)

i like how on some skins they have the cool little quick-launch menu or whatever u want to call it...

and also..i have a sort of n00b question about cursorxp if anyone wants to answer...

i have a cursor i want to animate...but the online tutorial doesnt help me enough....do i have to have seperate image files for each frame? or what?
because when i have it in all one image it either shows all the frames in a line...or it's just like a marquee of the frames through an invisible box...if that makes sense...could anyone give me a more detailed explanation on how to animate stuff?

Make sure that each frame of the animation is exactly the same size.

Example: One image 100 x 10 with ten fames 10 x 10
Did I add that right?

a rol button, isn't that a mouse over/mouse hover button?
On mouse the buttons shows a animation/picture.
